Standard2: I believe that standard2 describes how as an early childhood educator, we should be knowledgeable and able to understand the importance of characteristics of our children's families communities. Building trust and communicating information to parents and families can help with better involvement in their children's lives and education. I believe that by creating a respectful and reciprocal relationship with families, parents will help with continuous involvement in the classroom.
