Standard 6: Talk about becoming a professional . I regard becoming a preschool teacher as a never-ending process of self- growth and development. In order to obtain new ideas and enhance my thirteen years of experience in working with children. I am currently enrolled in early childhood development classes. I have now accumulated approximately 29 credit hours and my CDA along with my membership of Malcolm X Early Childhood Education resources reinforces my existing knowledge. Another source of what I call professional refreshment is the workshop from Henry Booth Head Start . This workshop provided information on the effectiveness of teaching strategies through self- assessment.
